  • Our characters awake in the middle of a forest with no recollection of how they got there. The last thing they remember was their own deaths than darkness... Now they are left alone with only clues left by an unseen, mysterious force leading them to who-knows-where through a stitched and patched world. What will they find at the end of their journey? Only the ominous force showing they're destined path knows...

I'm planning this RP to go through various animes. Characters can be human or Mamono. Said characters can originate anywhere from the past to the present time but not beyond that. Characters also may not have any special abilities. This also includes Mamono to an extent. If you intend to be a Mamono than just ask if your chosen Mamono is alright to use. Characters will pick up items and abilities later on in the RP. Chosen animes also might be altered to better fit the story of the RP. Simple character sheet below

    • Name: Levitas.

      Gender: Female

      Species: Dragon.

      Occupation: Courier.

Description: I don't own this image.

      Era: A Former Demon Lord.

    • (So she's a Dragon or is that just what her Dragon form looks like and she's a Mamono? And she's not a Demon Lord but from the for Former Demon Lord era?)

        Loading editor
    • (A dragon, and a former Demon Lord's reign is when she was alive.)

        Loading editor
    • (Ah... So a none-Mamono Dragon... Well, I guess I could make an exception... How big would she be?

        Loading editor
    • (As tall as the average human and around 12 feet long.)

        Loading editor
    • (Alright, I guess this will be fine. Though, I didn't intend for anyone to be a full-on beast so I'll have to change some things...)

        Loading editor
    • (Alright.)

        Loading editor
    • A man lying face down on the ground would slowly get up. Once kneeling he'd rub his forehead, a loud ringing sound would vibrate through his ears and slowly go away. Though, the crushing pain in his head would remain. "What... Where the hell..." He thought as he looked around the forest he found himself in.

        Loading editor
    • Levitas noticed many things upon entering the waking world. The first was a lack of tiredness, flying was tiring, and she was almost always doing it. They second was a distinct lack of other monsters. Where was the Weresheep who fed her, where was the Cyclops who always repaired her breastplate?

The final, and most confounding, was the terrain she was in. She last recalled... A town, or maybe very small city, and not some forest.

        Loading editor
    • The man would quickly find an old, rolled up piece of paper next to him. Looked to be a map. That was quickly swept aside as he noticed the giant, scaled creature nearby. He'd quickly get to his feet and place a hand on his katana.

"What kind of beast is that!? Is... Is it a Dragon!?" He thought as he stared with a stunned expression.

        Loading editor
    • Without any more thoughts on her current circumstances Levitas slowly got up. She yawned and looked around. Her gaze lands upon the human and she can't help but feel a pang of hunger. He looked to be Zipanguan, and those humans always tasted the best.

        Loading editor
    • He'd grip his katana harder. He didn't know what to do if it attacked but he sure as hell wasn't going down without a fight. As the atmosphere between the two became more and more tense, an intense, sudden pain would erupt from both of their heads that would stun even the mightiest of heroes and beasts. The man would let go of his katana, drop to his knees and hold his head as he let out a pained yell.

        Loading editor
    • Levitas dropped, she feebly tried to.reach her head with her front legs. She began whimpering as she attempted to make the pain to away.

        Loading editor
    • Another man would slowly open his eyes not far from the two. He seemed geared for a war. A modern war at that, but not too modern. A loud groan escaped his mouth as he sat up. From the feel of the ground, it dawned on him that something wasn't as he remembered. Something was wrong. Attempting to grab his nearby rifle, he quickly learned that there was no point. It was in two. Resorting to the next best thing, he pulled out his sidearm, a pistol, and checked the magazine. One bullet. Although he wasn't happy about it, one bullet was all he had to rely on.

        Loading editor
    • The pain within their heads would slowly fade. Once gone the man would stand back up and look around, spotting the man. The only thing he could muster to say was. "Where the hell are we!?" He said, reaching up and rubbing his forehead.

(To make things a bit more flexible, could Levitas have a human form or a half human and half Dragon form? This is not making her a Mamono but just to make this her character a bit easier to work with.)

        Loading editor
    • Hearing a voice, the man on the floor slowly stood, looking for the owner of the voice. It did not sound familiar, which only made him worry more. "I don't know!" He answered, aiming his sidearm at the strange man. His hands were twitching, ruining his aim. Being in enemy territory, or so he assumed, put him at a major disadvantage. The thought of demis rested on his shoulders as he attempted to take in his surroundings whilst keeping an eye on the man.

        Loading editor
    • The man would quickly put his hands up. "You fucking kidding me!? Point that thing at that... Thing!" He said, looking over at the Dragon. Seems like introductions are going smoothly...

        Loading editor
    • Diverting his eyes off the man to wherever he was looking, it didn't take long to realize what the issue was. "Holy christ!" He shouted, pointing his sidearm at it. Not that it would be very effective, just to make himself feel better. Whatever that was worth.

        Loading editor
    • (I would imagine it would make more sense if there was any Demonic Energy nearby to give reason to it. Sort of like how Mamono Dragons can turn into their primal forms.)

The Dragon slowly gets up. She looks at the two others, a hunger still in her eyes, but to a far less worrying degree. She got into a more comfortable position and wondered how she was to go about... Defusing, the situation.

        Loading editor
    • (We'll just say it has enough Demon Energy stored up to turn into a human form before it arrived into this new world.)

The man would have his hand on his katana. He was thinking over how he got here... The last thing he remembered was being tied up and beaten with a lead pipe than darkness... Did they not beat him to death? Did they just dump him here? "Hey... Soldier guy, what's the last thing you remember before now?"

        Loading editor
    • "What? Uh," This question had caught him off guard. It was something he hadn't really thought about, since he was only worried about now. Though, he could recall carrying somebody on his shoulders. Didn't exactly know who. Something he could recall exactly, though, was the loud bang followed by a blinding light... Then now. Of course, being in a high stress situation like thise, it was quite hard to think. "I was carrying somebody, then there was a loud bang followed by a light... A blinding light." He explained, keeping his eyes and more importantly, gun on the Dragon in front of them.

        Loading editor
    • He then looked over at the Dragon, wondering if it also had the same phenomena happen to it as it did with the two men.

        Loading editor
    • The Dragon cleared her throat. "W... Would you prefer me to have a less threatening form?" She spoke with the voice of someone who goes months without speaking.

        Loading editor
    • The man was surprised. It spoke... He watched her for a few moments, stunned.  "I... Yes." Was all he could muster at the moment.

        Loading editor
    • Although the other man spoke, the soldier couldn't say anything. All of this was simply too sureal.

        Loading editor
    • "Would you mind if I did this in private?" Without waiting for an answer she begins looking for a secluded spot for her to conduct the transformation.

        Loading editor
    • The man was silent. It was obvious he didn't want to take his eyes off of her in case she tries to pull a fast one. Luckily, as she looked around for a place to transform in private the group came to a realization that they weren't in any regular forest.

The trees looked to be around 80 meters tall, enormous trunks, large branches and would be a perfect spot to go behind and transform.

The man would also reach down and pick up the rolled up piece of paper.

        Loading editor
    • She went behind one and began the transformation process, groaning in pain. Afterall, changing from a four legged reptile to a two legged human-esque thing was difficult.

        Loading editor
    • The soldier started taking deep breaths. He needed to calm down. This was what he trained for. Well, not exactly this, but... Anyway. Checking himself, he noticed no wounds. That was good, he told himself, before realizing the trees. The enormous trees. "This ain't right," He thought, though, at this point this was not new information.

Kneeling down beside his rifle, he picked up the two parts. "How the he-" Then something dawned on him. Quickly, he grabbed the radio attached on his chest near his shoulder. "Hello? Is anybody there?" He questioned, waiting, hoping, for a response. Though he was only met with static...

        Loading editor
    • "I doubt that's going to work." The man said as he opened the paper and looked it over.

        Loading editor
    • What emerged from behind the tree was a human woman. Of course, if a human woman had purplish-black scales nearly up to the shoulder. She also had similarly colored wings and legs. Her hair was a wild mane of blond.

She looked at her companions. "Is this more... Acceptable?"

        Loading editor
    • Letting out an annoyed grunt, the soldier shook his head before laying out his supplies before him. It seemed he did not have much, however, upon pulling out a small pack with the letters: 'M.R.E' imprinted on the front, he let out a loud sigh of relief.

Then, noticing the "woman", his sidearm was once again raised and pointed directly at her. To him, she was still abnormal. Well, everything about this was abnormal.

        Loading editor
    • The man looked up. "Yes, better. What do you remember last before waking up here?" He has questions on what she was, of course, but getting things straight should be in order first.

        Loading editor
    • She almost instantly responded. "Getting impaled by over a dozen pikes." Well, that could also explain the groans of pain, having that be one of your final memories.

        Loading editor
    • "Alright... So you got impaled by pikes, the soldier guy got blown up by what he said though it's just a guess, and I was beaten with a lead pipe..." He sighed. "I guess... We all died?"

        Loading editor
    • The soldier's face was a good example of shock. "Dead?" He questioned himself, "There's no way, that... That can't be." Like most would, he wasn't going to accept that fact to easily. "No, we... We can't have died." He stated, lowering his gun.

        Loading editor
    • "Then you explain what that loud bang and flash was that happened with you. She says she was impaled with pikes but I don't see any holes in her and I remember being beaten to death with a lead pipe but I have absolutely zero bruises or broken bones. It's the only logical conclusion I can come up with... Though it still sounds unlogical... Though, I'm more concerned about where we are... Doesn't look like any place in Japan..."

        Loading editor
    • "Than is this the afterlife? If so it seems rather dull." Levitas says, looking at the trees.

        Loading editor
    • "I agree... Maybe we're in purgatory." He suggested. "Or maybe we were brought back to life in some supernatural way."

        Loading editor
    • "...Second chance?" The soldier suggested, facing away from the two, trying to see anything. Anything other then the damned trees.

        Loading editor
    • "In any case, someone left us a map to a city. It seems like whoever this person is intends for us to travel together..."

        Loading editor
    • "Well we had better get going. I could fly us there if you two would wish that."

        Loading editor
    • "Before we start moving, we should probably get introductions out of the way before anything else. My name is Ryu Hikaru. I come from Japan and I'm a Yakuza member, specifically apart of the Hiroshi clan." He then gave a bow.

        Loading editor
    • "My name is Levitas, I come from..." The Dragon gave a valiant effort, but she couldn't quite remember where she hatched. "... An egg and I am a Courier"

        Loading editor
    • "I'm Owen," The soldier answered, "Owen Spruce. I come from the north." He finished, checking the re-checking his pouches, trying to see if he missed anything.

        Loading editor
    • "Alright, now that introductions are over, the city... Or cities are about a couple hundred kilometers Northeast of here... This place looks extremely strange..."

        Loading editor
    • "How strange. Are Volcanoes next to icy tundra, and deserts next to ocean?"

        Loading editor
    • "No, but it appears this... City? Is divided up by three walls. Says here the outermost wall is named Maria, second innermost is named Rose, and the last wall is named Sheena... And it also looks like they have much smaller cities in each cardinal direction outwards and attached to each wall except Maria which only has one city... The city this map wants us to head to. It's called the Shiganshina District.

From the looks of it, one of the houses has something we apparently will want... Whatever that is is not said anywhere on this map though."

        Loading editor
    • "Then maybe we are heading to one massive fortress city? I hope not... Cities like those frighten me."

    • "Well this makes me question why they need three walls... Are they at war?"

        Loading editor
    • "Regardless, I would rather be behind some walls than out here with whatever is threatening them."

        Loading editor
    • "Good point... Another thing. You experienced that pain too. That pain that made you feel like your head was going to explode, right?"

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah. But what does that have to do with us going towards a city?"

        Loading editor
    • "Nothing to do with the city, what it does mean is that we might be linked somehow." He then looked over at the soldier.

"Hey, Owen was it? Did you feel a pain too?" Owen did experience a great pain but he wasn't awake at the time. Most he could say was waking up with a headache.

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah, I did. It hurt like a bi-" Owen then cut himself off, possibly to think. "It hurt," He said before turning to face the two. "If we are linked," He started, "I don't see anything that would warrent us being linked. Well, besides... Besides dying." He stated before looking away again, still coping with his apparent death.

        Loading editor
    • "Well let's see here. We have what I believe is a mythical Dragon or what I believe she is, a Yakuza member, and a soldier. So your right about all of us having little in common... Maybe it was just by random choice." He suggested.

"But what I do know is, if we all experienced the same pain, what else will we share about each other? Say if Owen gets a cut, does that mean we also feel the cut? Going more drastic, say if you lose an arm, what does that mean for us? Say if... One of us dies?" He said.

        Loading editor
    • "..." Owen thought about Ryu said. Pulling out his blade, he opened the palm of his free hand and proceeded to put a small cut in it. Gasping sharply, he quickly put away his blade and closed his hand into a fist. Looking at the two, he waited for a reaction of somekind. "Please, no." He thought.

        Loading editor
    • Ryu would clenched his fist and opened it, looked at his palm and a red mark appeared. He'd showed Levitas and Owen. Levitas would have also experienced the cut and had a red mark on her hand. Ryu then turned around and started walking.

      "Come on. Let's get going."

        Loading editor
    • Levitas just gave her new sound a look before following Ryu. Well, just another reason not to get hurt...

        Loading editor
    • Owen picked up the two halves of his rifle, placing them into his pack before following his group. Staying at the back was something he'd rather be, since they couldn't pull something on him without his seeing first.

"What happens if one of us dies..." He pondered on this thought while they walked. It seemed to almost haunt him.

        Loading editor
    • Well, another reason to watch out for the others as well. "Another thing concurred to me." Ryu said.

"Before this, I didn't know how to speak or understand English, I only spoke Japanese but here I am doing it. What about you two?"

        Loading editor
    • "I knew bits and pieces of Common, but to the extent i am currently speaking? No."

        Loading editor
    • "I've always been an English speaker, so this isn't nothing knew."

        Loading editor
    • "Hm... Alright." He said as they continued walking. They left the giant woods and now seemed to be on a dirt path. Everything was unusually silent, no wildlife to be seen.

      "It's unnervingly quiet..." Ryu commented

        Loading editor
    • "That's always bad," Owen commented, "Nothing. Not even wind..."

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah... Do you two have the feeling of being watched?" He said while looking around. Nothing. No humans or animals...  "Did something scare away the animals?"

        Loading editor
    • "Maybe this place is inhabitable?" Owen suggest whilst peering around the emptiness.

        Loading editor
    • Well, at the moment they were traveling through a field. "Well, could be the case... Though, without animals, food might become a problem if we have to travel further than I guessed..."

        Loading editor
    • "Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Owen stated, continuing to look around.

        Loading editor
    • (Going to wait for Tikkit but any idea what anime we're starting on?)

        Loading editor
    • (I think. But, my anime knowledge ain't the greatest. It's... It's really bad, actually.)

        Loading editor
    • (Whats your guess?)

        Loading editor
    • (I mean, when you mentioned the three walls, I thought of 'Attack on Titan.')

        Loading editor
    • "Agreed..." Ryu said as they continued to travel. When the sun started setting they'd find something in the middle of the path. An extremely large footprint. It looked to be human but the size was as big as a human torso.

      "What the hell...?"

        Loading editor
    • Levitas, who had been silent up till this point, stares at the foot print. "Oh dear, that doesn't look so good..."

      (Sorry, wasn't getting notifications.)

        Loading editor
    • "A... Giant...?" Ryu said as he looked to where the footprints were headed. Luckily it was headed across the path into nowhere instead of following the path.

        Loading editor
    • "The fuck... As if this place couldn't get any weirder." Owen added, keeping his sidearm at the ready as he stared at the footprint.

        Loading editor
    • "I'd rather not stay anywhere close to where a giant has passed."

        Loading editor
    • Ryu would stare off into the distance before nodding. "Yeah, let's keep going..." They'd then continue. They'd travel for what seemed to be hours until the sun started to set but no walls in sight...

"Something I wanted to bring up," Ryu spoke. "Should we travel through the night or stop to sleep?"

        Loading editor
    • "There's no chance in hell I'm sleeping out in the open like this," Owen announced, "That's suicide."

        Loading editor
    • "Then you can be the person to keep watch in the night."

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah, I will, if that's what it takes."

        Loading editor
    • "What do you think, Levitas?"

        Loading editor
    • "I think that I am tired of walking around with no goal in sight. Anyway, I have full confidence in his ability."

        Loading editor
    • "Agreed. If it's settled than we should just stop here. Not really any better place to make camp..." He said, stopping on the trail, stretching, and lying down on the trail. Luckily for Owen, the moon was out to shine some moonlight.

        Loading editor
    • Levitas transforms back into her Dragon form and lays next to Ryu, quickly drifting off to sleep.

        Loading editor
    • Owen stared at the dragon for a moment before looking away. He simply had no words. "Night watch." He thought to himself, making sure to watch for any movement.

        Loading editor
    • After the two fell asleep the night would go by quietly. Morning would slowly rise and everyone would get up, hungry, but at least nothing happened through the night.

        Loading editor
    • Owen would slowly stand, unholstering his sidearm. "Nice sleep?" He asked, checking around briefly.

        Loading editor
    • "Surprisingly so!" Levitas said, remaining in her Dragon form.

        Loading editor
    • "As nice as one can get from sleeping on the ground... What're you doing with that?"

        Loading editor
    • "We're walking around in unknown territory. Lord knows whats lurking around here."

        Loading editor
    • "Well, as far as I can see, there's nothing to shoot at... How many bullets do you have left, anyway." He said while getting up.

        Loading editor
    • "One." He answered rather grimly.

        Loading editor
    • "Hm... Well, don't waste it... Though that's obvious. Are we ready to head out?" An audible growl also came from Ryu's stomach...

        Loading editor
    • "I am, hopefully we reach our destination."

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah, I know." Owen said, ready to continue.

        Loading editor
    • As they traveled, some hours would go by until they finally saw something in the distance. A wall. Though they were still hour's away, that just showed how large the walls were. "Finally!" Ryu exclaimed... And turned to Levitas.

"Might want to turn into your human form. I'd rather not risk the chance of missing of eating."

        Loading editor
    • A sigh of relief would escape Owen's mouth, however, he did not let this drop his guard. He remained alert.

        Loading editor
    • "Oh very well, but only because I am a little peckish myself!" She says, once again going through the transformation into woman.

        Loading editor
    • After finishing transforming, they'd continue on. As they got closer it would seem that the walls were an astonishing 50 meters tall and looked to go on for thousands of miles. "How the hell did they even make these walls?"

        Loading editor
    • "I don't like this," Owen began, "A wall like this means they have some good technology." He explained, keeping his sidearm at the ready.

        Loading editor
    • "I guess..." He said as he stopped and studied the right of the wall. "We have to head right to reach the Shiganshina District. Shouldn't be too far now..." He said, going right along the wall.

        Loading editor
    • Levitas followed, looking at the titanic wall in amazement.

        Loading editor
    • "It's always right up ahead." Owen would say this in a mutter.

        Loading editor
    • (I will be providing visuals to important objects, characters, and places and give you a better understanding of what they look like. Try not to dig or dig too deeply into the stuff I link if you want some stuff to be a surprise.)

As they went around the wall they could see a giant hole. It was about 15 meters tall and gave a good look into how thick the walls were. About 1 meter or so thick. And it looked like somehow it was breached...

"Damn..." Ryu said as he caught sight of the hole. "Guess that's where we need to enter." He said as they approached and were able to look inside into the city.

"Sure as hell doesn't look like this place is advanced."

        Loading editor
    • (Hello...)

        Loading editor
    • "No. No, it doesn't." Owen would say, trying to picture how they built the wall...

        Loading editor
    • The city also looked like it underwent an attack, though not recently. It looked old and abandoned. "Well, let's not waste time." Ryu said, moving into the city.

        Loading editor
    • Levitas followed him in, looking around.

        Loading editor
    • "I don't think-" Owen stopped upon realization that they were already. "Shit." He thought before slowly stepping in.

        Loading editor
    • "You don't think what?"

        Loading editor
    • "I don't think this is a good idea. At all."

        Loading editor
    • "Don't have much of a choice."

        Loading editor
    • "Indeed, I doubt we can leave until we reach our goal here. In fact, we might be punished should we not make the attempt."
