After much too long a wait, we're happy to bring you the results of our story and raffle contest! All winners have been contacted at the email provided so if you see your name below, be sure to check your inbox!
All 34 story submissions were read by the MGE Wiki staff (User:Party Vanderbilt is currently on hiatus) and each was graded out of a possible 50 points. The final scores listed below are the average of every story's individual score assigned by each staff member.
The breakdown of our grading criteria was as follows:
Narrative - 20 points
Setting - 10 points
Characters - 10 points
Composition - 5 points
Grammar - 5 points
Where any stories disqualified?
Yes, 5 stories were disqualified due to their contents not meeting the requirements of our contest.
The breakdown for disqualified stories is as follows:
(4) stories disqualified as a result of being significantly {100 words} under or over the word limit
(1) story disqualified for not containing any of the required monster girls.
While we did hit a few bumps along the way, things went surprisingly well for this being our first attempt at a community event. Most notably, grading took almost 4 weeks which is much longer than the originally anticipated 4-5 days. We've already talked amongst ourselves and come up with a few solutions to this problem and plan to implement a number of changes next time.
Finally, we're very happy to see so many entrants and were delighted at the greater-than-expected number of submissions for both our raffle and short story contest. This shows us that there really is an active and populated monster girl community in the West, so we plan on continuing these events in the hopes of fostering further growth, cross-communication, and content creation.
Thanks for stopping by, have a good one!

That's a lot of stuff. Even with all the recommendations given by people in the comment section, I only add the ones I like or those which get multiple suggestions for being added. Lack of time prevents me from adding everything, even by good authors like PRW or Punaldin.
Some stories here are already added. I'll see if I can read some or all of the rest and then add them.
Congratulations on getting second place, Breakaway, you deserve it! :)
EDIT: I've been reading Perentie and RSanon/RampantSerenity for quite a while now, so, if they read this, I'd like to tell them I really enjoyed their stories and presentaion. Silent_II is another brilliant writer who should've participated, but that's just my opinon. I might be biased in favour of them since I've enjoyed their content and followed them for a while; but I still believe most people should enjoy what they write.
Congrats to everyone who entered. It was enjoyable to read all of the stories through, Don't feel bad if you were rated lower than other people. Writing is as much a learning experience as painting, it takes time and practice to perfect it.
So keep on writing and don't give up!
Lol Camran, i noticed my story is missing from your list :P Is all cool though, is nice for someone to compile a place for stories. I need to look at sorting out the stories section on this site anyway, Mediawiki is not the best framework for organising them without a lot of hassel.
^^ I did notice your Absolution series two weeks ago, Mauller, on the Fan Fiction Updates page, but I didn't get time to read them yet and no one commented on my blog post after reading them.
I'll be adding those as soon as I find no other pages to add or I/someone reads them. Only so much one bloke can do, right? ;)
God damn those stories were good, too bad I can't think of any good ones since my brain is stupid. Though I wanna see how the comics for the winner is going to look like. Also how long for the prizes to get here's?
