I may be just an anon who lurks here and pops in once in a while, making the occasional minor edit, but from what I've seen, this wiki has really made it far. I'm kinda proud, actually.

So what would be the difference between sexual content and a fapfic in this context? Does the degree of detail in the sex matter or is it merely about how much story is in the fanfic?

fapfic would be a case of the entire thing just being a sexual scene written at length.

we are looking for a story, not a sex scene. There can be sex in the story if you want, as long as it follows the site rules of not being highly detailed.

But your story doesn't have to contain sex in it.

....I'mma start brainstorming and researching on this, now.

Could I enter any of the WWYD Responses on my blog if they were big enough, or does my story have to be completely original/new?

The book was officially released in 2015, I believe. So the artbook from 2015.

You may include notes but they will not be counted towards the word quota.

WWYD scenarios are fine but keep in mind that the narrative needs to be introduced and concluded in the same story. The set-up scenario should not be included in your post. The story should be able to stand on it's own, not requiring the supporting details of the scenario.

Yes, you can include as many MGs as you like but one of the listed girls has to feature prominently in your story.

Im only asking cause I'm curious and don't wanna cause any problems cause I go over board describing the sex scene of my fanfic, this is all before I get to that point by the way and am still in the rough phase.

How would they be able to know where I live then? No one knows where I live and I don't have any overseas bank accounts like PayPal.

We only need a postal address that will be kept confidential, but we will only ask for postal details once the winners are chosen. All we need for now is your real name and an email address so we can contact you.

Stories should take place in MGE's medieval fantasy setting. Steampunk elements are acceptable but do keep in mind that these are very rare in canon so the appropriate context should be used.

I honestly thought something that I found years ago, would've exploded this much. I'm actually very proud of the community for monster girls.

Yes, you can make up new locations as long as they adhere to the established properties that make up canon; i.e. a medieval-fantasy setting in a world of relatively low-level tech, augmented by magic with some rare and very localized exceptions.

Yes, you can enter both the short story contest and the raffle but you can only win one competition.

There's a ton of material outside of MG profiles that exist solely to describe the world and setting of Monster Girl Encyclopedia, most of which can be found in World Guide 1 and World Guide 2. It's a lot to digest at once but you've got 10 days until the contest ends so you can make it.

Well, I'm throwing in the towel.

What a shame. I would have definitely been able to finish had I worked on it more last week. Thought it was coming along really well. I have enough words for the minimum requirement, but there's just so much missing that I still want to put in.

Heck, I feel that if I DID put in everything I wanted, I would have gone way over the limit. I don't think I'm very good at keeping things "short." XD

If I submit anything in the future, I want it to be my very best, not something I slapped together last minute.
