World Guide I

Erm...on the front page, we say that World Guide I isn't available. Actually, it is. World Guide I is Fallen Maidens. Should we correct that? It doesn't say good things about us to have a glaring error on our front page, no less one that can be corrected with a little research into the wiki.75.69.16.38 23:52, August 14, 2014 (UTC)

It says it's not available because none of it has been posted on this Wiki yet. It's available in an un-organised format on MGR. - Jekkers (talk) 17:08, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Franchise originEdit

I could not find info about this on Wikipedia. Did this begin as a manga or visual novel or light novel or did it actually begin as series of Japanese books? Curious about first book, first year, etc. talk2ty 01:53, February 1, 2016 (UTC)

MGE got it's starts as a series of monster girl profiles, drawn/authored by Kenkou Cross and posted online. Don't quote me but if I recall correctly, Alraune was the first profile, posted back in 2007 on the Kurobinega website (Kurobinega is the name of an artist group that Kenkou Cross belongs to and posts his work under). Eventually, interest in the MGE series built up enough that KC comnpiled the first 100 profiles into a print book, Monster Girl Encyclopedia 1 (Released December 31st, 2010 at Comiket 79). Since then, a number of lore and story books have been released with the next major installment in the series, Monster Girl Encyclopedia 2, being released this summer at Comiket 90.
For a listing of all published books, see our Books page. I've verified that all the meta information, like date of publication, is correct. - --Jekkers (talk) 04:32, February 1, 2016 (UTC)

Bring back the "new monster" section on the side of the frontpage Edit

Why was it removed? Can it be brought back? I've seen the other mgewiki and I believe I've been missing about the new monsters.

And there's no such thing as a list of monsters sorted via their release dates. I used to come here from time to time just to check out new monsters but there's nothing. Why was it removed? Really poor decision that should have been thought twice.
